FOR HIKING, CAMPING, AND BACKPACKING IN THIS AREA.

Hannagan Meadow is located high up in the White Mountains of Arizona at 9,100ft elevation. The White Mountains are located NorthEast of Phoenix Arizona (close to the New Mexico border) in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest - and offer more than 200 miles of hiking trails, 450 miles of fishable streams, and 11 lakes. This area includes the 7,000 acre Mt Baldy Wilderness area, as well as the 5,200 acre Escudilla Wilderness area - which boasts the third highest peak in Arizona. Also included to this area, is the Bear Wallow Wilderness, which as some of the largest acreage of virgin Ponderosa Pine in the SouthWest.

Are you ready for lush? Are you craving cool green? Hannagan Meadow will deliver! Go Virtual Hike with us 5.6 miles (in and out) on the North Fork KP Trail #93. Ackre Lake trail is considered the easiest of trails around Hannagan Meadow, which makes the beauty of hiking through Aspens, Pines and abundance of flowers just icing on the cake. Go Virtual Hike with us 3.5 miles (one-way 400ft elevation change) from Hannagan Meadow Lodge (9,100ft elevation)

On our last day at Hannagan Meadow Lodge, we succumbed to the touristy art of horseback riding. Go Virtual Horseback Ride with us as we saunter you through the beautiful Clell Lee Ski trail, through Lee Meadow, and back around to Hannagan Meadow.
